2026 California Ocean Summit
December 8-11, 2026
Organized by Sea Forward, the Office of Assemblymember Gregg Hart, UC Santa Barbara, Cerulean Ventures, and other collaborators, the California Ocean Summit will unite leaders in marine science, environmental policy, philanthropy, impact investing, education, and the arts. The goal is to transform individual efforts to protect our ocean into a coordinated strategy for lasting coastal and ocean resilience.

Sea Forward and Emergence Films hosted an inspiring evening on Bainbridge Island featuring ocean-themed food, music, art, and community booths, followed by a packed screening of David Attenborough’s Ocean at the historic Lynwood Theatre. The event concluded with an energizing panel discussion focused on ocean impact updates and local engagement opportunities.
