Multicultural Education for Resource Issues Threatening Ocean (MERITO) Foundation is dedicated to protecting the ocean by facilitating education, conservation, and scientific research opportunities to multicultural youth and their communities.

The mission of the Bren School is to solve environmental problems. The Bren School develops interdisciplinary solutions to environmental problems, trains environmental leaders, and works for a sustainable future.

Gaia Goddesses
Save the Manatee

Sustainable Ocean Alliance (SOA) is a nonprofit organization based in San Francisco, California that develops leaders, cultivates ideas, and accelerates solutions in the field of ocean health and sustainability.

The Gaia Goddesses are a women-led group passionate about protecting biodiversity, addressing climate change, and nurturing women to protect our planet. We are delighted to work with Save the Manatee Club to contribute toward educational and conservation efforts for the West Indian manatees. Matching funds provided by Sea Forward Fund.

Island Visions

Island Visions aims to inspire explorers and students of all ages to seek the wonder in their own backyards. We hope that the finned, flippered, and footed experts within these pages help future generations to better understand and protect this little blue marble that we all call home.

Greenwave is a Global Network of Regenerative Ocean Farmers with the goal of supporting 10,000 farmers, catalyzing the scaled planting of regenerative crops to yield meaningful economic and climate impacts.

Quasars to Seastars

Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History Quasars to Sea Stars is a work-study-volunteer program for high school teens. Participants take Museum classes and learn from professional scientists; volunteer in the community, and at the Museum & Sea Center events.
